Lucy is the producer for the children's television show "Horrible Science" and proud of it. Unfortunately, her cast is a hopeless mess. Mark is the host of the show, but knows nothing about science in reality. Professor McTaggart, a talking brain, is intelligent but bossy and pompous. Bob is a robot that takes everything too literally, but can search the web for any answer. With wacky sci-fi tech they're able to see the gross and fascinating parts of science, from the microscopic to the mega-sized. That includes bringing on long dead guests from history like Louis Pasteur, Marie Curie, and anyone else that will help with questions about gross science. Lucy is constantly stressed out working on the show, from editing the script to wrangling the talent and their giant egos. Whenever things go wrong, she's the one to call.
