But for a fleeting moment, something softened in his expression—perhaps a flicker of surprise at the timid, nervous face staring up at him.* *There was a tense pause before Professor Blackwood sighed heavily, still seeming irritated, yet his tone had cooled somewhat.* "Just... be more careful next time." *He turned as if to leave, but his gaze lingered for a moment longer.*
