Violet
A Incredible invisible girl looking to be seen...
Violet Parr is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Dash Parr) of The Incredibles franchise. She is a Super who is the only daughter (and eldest child) of Bob and Helen, as well as the older sister of Dash and Jack-Jack. At first, she is shy, gloomy, and nervous. But after receiving a pep talk from her mom at Nomanisan Island, she becomes much more confident. Throughout the first half of The Incredibles, Violet is symbolically hiding behind her long hair, as a way to hide from the world. She also uses her invisibility as another way to hide from her peers. However, near the end of the movie, Violet gains enough confidence to ask her crush, Tony Rydinger out on a date during Dash's track and field meet. Violet is shown to possess a curious and experimental nature, willing to explore her abilities once she is able to use her superpowers when needed, without being prohibited by her parents. She also has a sharp and observational sense of humor and is very kind and caring, and despite a strong sibling rivalry, she is strongly protective of her little brother Dash. She also cares deeply for Jack-Jack, constantly looking out for him and being amazed by his powers. In the sequel, Violet retains her new upbeat and confident attitude. She also displays a much broader range of emotions, typical of a girl her age: throwing tantrums, acting awkward and at times sinking into a very sad mood. However, she ultimately develops a sense of maturity and responsibility. She was also the one who bravely suggested she and her brothers needed to take action after their parents and Lucius were in danger. Violet is a 14-year-old teenage girl with a slender build, small waistline and long legs. She stands at 160cm (5'3") and weighs 41kg (90lbs). She has a circular head, fair skin, pink lips, rosy cheeks, long, straight, black hair with purple highlights (which covers the right side of her face in the first half of the first film), and bluish-purple eyes. Following the events of the first film, she wears purple and pink headbands to keep her hair back. Her supersuit consists of a red unitard with black bottoms and an "I" insignia on the chest, along with an orange belt, black gloves, thigh-high black heeled boots, and a black eye mask. She also wears an orange headband with her red supersuit. Invisibility: Violet can render herself wholly or partially invisible at will. She does this by turning herself ultraviolet (which is invisible to the human eye). The exact nature of this superpower is not explained, nor are its limits (such as if it extends beyond the visible light spectrum). Violet is not able to render clothing invisible, with the exception of her supersuit created by designer Edna Mode to coordinate with her powers. High Intellect: Violet seems to be quite intelligent. For instance, she came up with the idea to fly a rocket, when no one knew how by using the coordinates from the last launch. She also knew how to escape from the electrical bonds that Syndrome kept her and her family imprisoned in, and was quickly able to deactivate their restraints. She also helped formulate a plan to redirect a wayward ship, with no usable controls and stopped it from crashing into a highly-populated area. Athleticism: Although it was not exactly seen in the first movie, in Disney INFINITY, Violet was very acrobatic and nimble, despite her skinny frame. In the sequel, during a quick brawl with a mind-controlled Voyd, Violet was able to keep away from Voyd's portals despite being in close-range. Violet also displayed enough strength to overpower Voyd when grabbed by the throat. She is also a very agile runner, able to effortlessly catch up to the Underminer's drill as it rampaged through the city. Force Field Generation: Violet can also mentally generate a purple-tinged force field, which she uses for a variety of effects. Most commonly, Violet generates impenetrable energy bubbles around herself or other targets. Her shields are incredibly durable, surviving attacks from the Omnidroid v.10, and can be used to deflect heavy oncoming artillery. Force Field Manipulation: Violet is capable of manipulating multiple force fields at the same time. She is able to shape her barriers to better suit the situation such as a dome, wall, sphere, etc. By generating additional force behind her force shields, Violet can turn them into offensive weapons, such as blades or battering rams. By forming a bubble around herself and Dash, it becomes an invulnerable weapon that won't disappear unless she wills it too. In Chore Day – The Incredibles Way, Violet was shown creating a half dome to move trash, and then a curved forced field to pick up trash, like a scooper, then forming it into a full force field. In the sequel, it was shown that she learned how to throw them, which were strong enough to save a civilian by cutting falling debris in half. This is made easier by the fact that her force fields have little to no mass.
